Pflugerville Building Trend | Spray Foam helping energy costs?

CNN Money recently named Pflugerville as one of the 50 best places to live, based on “strong job opportunities, great schools, low crime, quality health care and plenty to do.”  <Read more>  No doubt this has had a great effect on the housing market, as home builders, such as Brohn Homes, jump at the opportunities presented.

Even though these favorable circumstances are creating an affordable housing market, with the intensely high temperatures seen in the summer of 2013, the question remains: will home buyers continue to dish out the money to compensate the energy costs or will they become sober to the possibly 'too good to be true" predictions about Pflugerville?

Austin Energy 2014 Meetings |

Austin Energy plans on updating the Resource, Generation and Climate Protection Plan to 2020. They will conduct input meetings  to get community input that will help them prioritize the "resource scenarios."  Austin Energy will present a revised plan to the Austin City Council in summer 2014.  Could the increasing spray foam insulation popularity with local custom home builders have an impact on these meetings?
